Delayed Showtime..

I still remember when it was brand new at Douglas and on display..
I couldn't resist trying the scent.. and I found it really interesting back then. If I hadn't been so short on cash (I was broke) I might have bought it.
Now it comes late and I can say that I still like it a lot.
But not as much as before, as my taste has somehow changed.
Showcat starts for me at least with a rather bold green apple, which then gets accompanied by some roses and that's about it for me..
It could of course be that the apple has a party planned to which all the ingredients are invited, but the rose is definitely the main guest in my bottle.
And I don't find that tragic at all, because I like the scent just as it is quite a bit :)
Towards the end, however, the scent really develops again and becomes very warm.

My mom and I were drawn to the cute little box, and the bottle is adorable too.
The fragrance begins with a lovely apple scent.
Bergamot is fresh, and the pink pepper is cheeky.
One might think it's an innocent young girl's fragrance.
But after a while, it takes on a more serious development.
Freesia and peony are elegant, and the rose is beautifully nostalgic.
Amber adds warmth, and cedar makes it mature.
A surprising twist in the story that I like.
This fragrance misleads you, like a skilled magician, always leaving you wondering: How did he do that?

A Bit Too Much Pepper in the Rear

After years of repeatedly purchasing Velvet Kitten, I also bought this fragrance from Pussy Deluxe. The brand name may be a matter of taste, but unfortunately, the scent is too. For me, I hardly smell anything except for the freesia and the pepper. Over time, this fragrance only gives me headaches, but I find the bottle too nice to throw away, so I will keep the scent; occasionally, I spray it on again, but it will probably never excite me. What a pity!

Unsweet flowers with pepper and apple shampoo. The freesia-cedar combo unfortunately reminds me of various Barclays and Bananis, otherwise a nice summer scent.
