Olympēa Aqua Rabanne 2018 Eau de Parfum Légère

With a grimace, or rather with a wrinkled nose, I decided today: Now I’m testing "Olympea Aqua - Eau de Parfüm Légère"! I knew that there wouldn’t be any comments on it. And that Paco Rabanne is not really my style.
But now and then, when you’re testing seriously, you have to try the fragrances that don’t suit you as much; also those that are very affordable. I wouldn’t classify "Olympea Aqua - Eau de Parfüm Légère" as affordable, but neither as expensive.
I also test such fragrances partly to have a comparison, and partly to avoid being unfair, also to stay "grounded" in terms of scents. And also to keep training, to "toughen up".
Just as one sometimes has to eat greasy fries with mayo and ketchup, yes, even craves them. Preferably at one of the most notoriously "famous" fry shops, so that one doesn’t get too spoiled.
And last but not least, to return to the scent, because you can discover treasures in all classes and fragrance directions.
So I sprayed it on, made disciplined notes, continued to paint my picture, sniffed my arm, noted it down, and applied another fine wash of diluted watercolor.
What did I smell from "Olympea Aqua - Eau de Parfüm Légère"?
At first, a blast of sharp synthetic fruits hits me, not even very sweet, as I immediately perceive Ambroxan, which I find relieving in this case. However, I still find the opening loud and intrusive for a fragrance that is labeled "légère".
However, after about 20 minutes and concentrating quickly to lay a thin layer of color over the previously "layered" and dry notes, not too wet, otherwise they will run together, form unsightly spots or dissolve the lower ones and mix -
I notice that "Olympea Aqua - Eau de Parfüm Légère" has toned down, I now smell a softer floral mix with a hint of tuberose or maybe gardenia, who knows? I can't really distinguish that in many fragrances.
Still, there is always a sharp synthetic note.
I’m making notes here, entering everything, already writing a statement. So that only the beginning has been made, but not everything is completely listed here. I want to think again about the comment. There are so many such fragrances, and there are already some statements below.
If I don’t get moving quickly, I would have to apply "Olympea Aqua - Eau de Parfüm Légère" again for a comment. It’s not that bad, but somehow I also don’t feel like it.
I want to return to my picture, but domestic events are hitting. It starts to rain, quickly bringing in the laundry. The doorbell rings, 25 kg of special cat litter is being delivered by DHL, so I heft the stuff into the little transport cart and stow it away.
Oh, and I’m on cooking duty today, damn, the fish isn’t properly thawed yet, it’s already so late.
So let’s go, I can handle this. And while I prepare the food and adjust my plan through the half-thawed salmon trout fillets, I keep smelling a fragrance that I know. Images of supermarkets, shopping malls flash through my mind, cashiers with this scent. Women whose scent, one like this, I perceive in passing.
I didn’t think about the test anymore. But apparently, it’s working in my head while I’m preparing the food. And suddenly I have it: It’s just like "Lady Million" yes exactly!
When I perceive it on women, the fragrance has already gone through most of its development. Just like it is with me now.
Now again, and again the nose to the spots where I applied it: Yes, that’s the scent. - Or very similar? And especially some women have had their fragrances in their clothes for a long time and then applied more, they can scent a small supermarket with it, so ubiquitous can such a fragrance be.
However, it’s been a while since I smelled "Lady Million" everywhere, now there are other fragrances like "La Vie est Belle".
Finally, now it’s already mid-afternoon, I can write the comment.
Applied again to different spots, everything as before.
And on the spots applied in the morning, I smell a weak and dull scent of "Olympea Aqua - Eau de Parfüm Légère", still with this foundation of "Lady Million" and/or "Olympea Aqua - Eau de Parfüm Légère"? That gradually fades away with a bland scent of Ambroxan and coumarin.
I would rate the fragrance better, but as I see here, it’s not a particularly affordable fragrance. And why did it have to be released, as I perceive it, as a flanker to "Lady Million"? However, in a completely different bottle, of a fragrance that I don’t know yet, but which is popular and has a more positive image?
