In the retest, I get a lot more honey. Not gourmand, more herbal, but still a bit sweet.
The honey note tends to get a bit dirty, like a kind of sweat. This is polished clean with a shiny soap. Overall, it feels very mature and somewhat grandfather-like.
An 80s fragrance of a different kind.

Somehow good, but I was also expecting an 80s classic and was disappointed by my expectations.
Still, I like that the sharpness was softened by a bitter-sweet honey. It doesn't come off as harsh or grim, but rather like a mature man with a fulfilled life.
My sample wasn't enough for a retest; otherwise, it might have scored an 8.
