A Truly Fragrant Buddy

First: I hate "One Million," yuck, disgusting! ;-) However, UM by Paco Rabanne is one of the oldest fragrances in my collection. I have often received compliments from women because of it. What more could a man want? I don't wear it as often anymore, but that's due to my curiosity for new scents and my now significantly grown collection. However, I will always come back to UM from time to time.

For me, this EDT is an all-time favorite, which I prefer to wear in the evening rather than during the day. I would describe the scent progression as quite linear. Minty freshness cushions a certain base sweetness. Both are very pleasant. Perhaps UM could be called the Wrigley's of fragrances, although I don't specifically think of chewing gum when I smell it. In fact, UM evokes very few associations in me that remind me of familiar things from the kitchen, bathroom, or nature. I mean this as a compliment, as this scent stands alone for itself.

What is meant by the scent type "synthetic" has not become entirely clear to me to this day. Maybe I'm still too inexperienced! ;-) The fact is that most aromatic substances are produced synthetically nowadays. Therefore, this is neither a deal-breaker nor a plus criterion for me. I just wanted to get that off my chest.

For those who, like me, tend to lean towards the sweeter side as a "fresh type," but turn up their noses at A*Men or Le Male, UM is a safe bet with more than sufficient longevity and sillage.
