Waidmanns Heil Rammstein 2022

At first, I distinctly smelled wet fur, which fits very well into the further development of the scent. Subsequently, the fragrance becomes woody and resinous, yet it remains warm, and the vetiver gives it a strong green note. Later, the scent becomes a bit spicier, and amber as well as incense are clearly noticeable. I couldn't smell ambroxan at all, but in the drydown, the cashmere comes through prominently. At least I suspect that it could be the earthy, damp, and mineral note. I wasn't familiar with this fragrance ingredient before. I can imagine that Waidmanns Heil could be a year-round scent; I wouldn't classify it as a niche fragrance. For me, it is clearly the better "Encre Noir," as it appears stronger, rounder, and with more facets.

I am already surprised that such high-quality perfumes are sold in drugstores. It may last only a few hours, but for the price, that's acceptable.
Fortunately, I was able to pick up the last bottle at Rossmann today. I find the packaging with the golden lettering and hunting green stylish, and the bottle is beautifully hefty and quite high-quality. Addendum 11/17/23: at about 3 degrees and sunny autumn weather, the scent really comes alive outside...
