Gentle Midnight Rose

In search of nice and not too expensive decor, I also browse in stores of the lower price range. Not everything offered there is kitsch.

As I was wandering through the aisles, I suddenly smelled Trésort Midnight Rose. However, this scent had always been too overpowering and heavy for me. I prefer gentler fragrances. Curiously, I followed the scent and found a group of teenagers at the fragrance shelf indulging in Purple Rose.

Bravely, I tried the tester. A sharp smell of alcohol came and quickly faded away. Now there was room for raspberry and blackcurrant and a little pepper. But not very strong and fruity, rather light. Shortly after, rose, peony, and jasmine appeared. The latter was also not overwhelming. The dry down then featured musk, cedar, and a hint of vanilla. Together, it was a very good copy of Trésort Midnight Rose. I was amazed at how well this very affordable fragrance performed on my skin. Rounded and by no means cheap. I made a round through the store and a bottle came home with me.

The longevity on me was about 2 1/2 to 3 hours, which is perfectly fine for me, as I am not a fan of fragrances that last indefinitely, but prefer to reapply as needed.

The bottle is simple and elegant. The little flower goes to my niece, and that’s that.

Conclusion: For more than a little money, a very good fragrance for wearers who prefer it not too intense but still want to appear elegant. I paid 2.99 euros, but I would gladly spend more for this scent.
