Performs at its price point but nothing further
Purchased at : Burlington
Price Paid : $7.99
"Move" starts with a strong, icy blue, synthetic accord. Very cold. Some orange popsicle and fresh squeezed lemon vibes...bringing images of frostbitten T-800s eating lemons and orange popsicles into the mind.
You do better not smelling it up close, but you definitely get some screechy bitter lemon-dill-cardboard aromas if you do. After 2-3 minutes you get some bergamot and orange Tic-Tac. Blankets of pine, fir, and damp patchouli and moss settle in like a welcome guest to soften the cold profile at the 5 minute mark.
It fades to a very intimate reflection of itself - as if it were looking into a pond and became the reflection - within 15 minutes. Icy lemon cup notes and muted freshly peeled orange pith are all that's left for the remainder of the scent.
This scent lasts 50 minutes.
I don't get much of the complex profile listed here. That being said, if this were more of a projector and long-lasting scent, it would do just fine in a duffel bag for a post-workout session. The more I focus on the notes, the less I appreciate it. Just wear it like a chump and be happily ignorant.
I like the bottle, it's very gym-bag appropriate. Would not look out of place in a Planet Fitness locker room. Atomizer is good. I like it quite a bit. Sillage is...well it's better than St Kitts but it's still pretty weak.
This is a very icy, citrusy, slightly foresty aroma. It's definitely not the worst. It performs at its price point but nothing beyond that. You could do worse, but you could also do better for under $10. I'm actually going to step out and knock on your head, and tell you that I recommend nearly anything from Cuba Paris at that price instead.
Regardless, I'll be keeping this bottle. It's cool. It was $7. Who cares?
