Orange blossom and ginger warmed by an amber light
A beautiful sweet floral and honeyed amber scent. Very very sweet. This is like orange flower syrup. It smells gold like the gorgeous bottle (one of the prettiest in my collection!). There is a light amount of bite from the ginger but it remains very sweet and floral. Smells expensive. I used to sell wedding gowns and Reem Acra dresses were always such beauties. This fragrance would be a very luxurious and romantic white floral for a wedding.

Blind-buy Gem!
I saw this in my local Marshall's in a gift set (full-sized perfume, body wash, and lotion) for only $15. I returned it to the shelf and left the store, but I kept thinking about it. Marshall's usually doesn't have scents that I've never heard of!!! I went on to read up on reviews about it, and it contains some of my beloved perfume notes: orange blossom, amber, and musk. I was very intrigued about it because I had never seen nor heard of this perfume before and was worried that Marshall's would not continue to carry it. I ended up going back to buy it. It's a wonderful scent and such a steal!

The very first thing I smell upon application is the bergamot. I do not like bergamot, personally, but very quickly--within seconds--the orange blossom joins the party, and it is wondrous! I love the melding of the orange blossom into the ginger, and then the other florals join in, making this a gently spicy/sweet floral. It is really beautiful. It does have a bit of an oriental vibe, but I would not call this outright spicy. Amber and musk are strong supporting partners, and the drydown is delicious. I don't get much patch or cedar. Cedar turns tangy on me, and I don't experience an overload of that here.

Sadly, the performance of this gem is not very good. Sillage is barely within arms' length, and the longevity is maybe a couple of hours. These two facts keep this from being a 10 out of 10 for me.

But it is a very warm, resinous, and cozy scent while it lasts. It is best for the autumn and winter seasons and evenings out. But as the sillage is low, this could be a suitable fragrance for office, school, and church.

If you should find this for such a low cost, snap it up! It is definitely worth it.

I would love this in a natural oil form. I suspect it would bloom. Sillage and longevity are an issue. Sensational, otherwise.

Gentle spicy/sweet/resinous floral with an oriental vibe. Like a cozy blanket for fall and winter.
