Orange blossom and ginger warmed by an amber light
A beautiful sweet floral and honeyed amber scent. Very very sweet. This is like orange flower syrup. It smells gold like the gorgeous bottle (one of the prettiest in my collection!). There is a light amount of bite from the ginger but it remains very sweet and floral. Smells expensive. I used to sell wedding gowns and Reem Acra dresses were always such beauties. This fragrance would be a very luxurious and romantic white floral for a wedding.

Blind-buy Gem!
I saw this in my local Marshall's in a gift set (full-sized perfume, body wash, and lotion) for only $15. I returned it to the shelf and left the store, but I kept thinking about it. Marshall's usually doesn't have scents that I've never heard of!!! I went on to read up on reviews about it, and it contains some of my beloved perfume notes: orange blossom, amber, and musk. I was very intrigued about it because I had never seen nor heard of this perfume before and was worried that Marshall's would not continue to carry it. I ended up going back to buy it. It's a wonderful scent and such a steal!

The very first thing I smell upon application is the bergamot. I do not like bergamot, personally, but very quickly--within seconds--the orange blossom joins the party, and it is wondrous! I love the melding of the orange blossom into the ginger, and then the other florals join in, making this a gently spicy/sweet floral. It is really beautiful. It does have a bit of an oriental vibe, but I would not call this outright spicy. Amber and musk are strong supporting partners, and the drydown is delicious. I don't get much patch or cedar. Cedar turns tangy on me, and I don't experience an overload of that here.

Sadly, the performance of this gem is not very good. Sillage is barely within arms' length, and the longevity is maybe a couple of hours. These two facts keep this from being a 10 out of 10 for me.

But it is a very warm, resinous, and cozy scent while it lasts. It is best for the autumn and winter seasons and evenings out. But as the sillage is low, this could be a suitable fragrance for office, school, and church.

If you should find this for such a low cost, snap it up! It is definitely worth it.

Dance in Golden Silk
Reem Acra is a fashion designer, born in Beirut and known for many years for wedding dresses and gowns for other grand appearances. So it is no surprise that her creations have been worn at the Golden Globes and have helped a variety of female Hollywood stars shine even brighter. This mention is meant to serve as an introduction to a fragrance that, while not as extraordinary in its nature as the bottle might suggest, is nonetheless capable of creating a wonderfully pleasant atmosphere.
In other forums, I have already read that it bears a resemblance to Elie Saab EdP or Armani Code, but in character, it is less, shall we say, dominant. Indeed, it immediately evokes exactly this association with the two mentioned creations, yet still seems to be a standalone fragrance. I distinctly notice a warm, sweet honey note in it that is absent in the others. Especially Armani Code is already louder, sharper, more orange, and aggressive on the skin, nerve, and scent cells it is sprayed upon. Elie Saab is more peaceful in comparison, still full of aroma but dialed back a notch. This is where Reem Acra comes into play. In comparison, I would place it right in the middle of them, as it enhances their strengths and relativizes any potential drawbacks. It symbolizes the golden mean, the calm center, the balance. When the heart note joins after the opening bouquet with the comparable notes, it becomes truly interesting for me. The ginger adds warmth and a tingling sensation. Jasmine particularly wraps itself around the first scent cloud; I do not miss the others, as the fragrance is harmonious enough on its own. However, in the base, the essential difference to the other two mentioned perfumes becomes apparent. It exudes a sensual honey-sweet warmth, golden and shimmering, caressing the senses and totally relaxing. While a lot of orange haze prevails to the left and right of it, it appears amber-colored with a lot of golden shine. As a fragrance, it shows itself to be very amber, woody, and musky, yet very balanced, which again confirms its position in the middle of the others for me. On my skin, the scent is softer; on fabric, it tends to lean more towards Code. It remains somewhat restless on the fabric, while it merges with the warmth of the skin and carries soft veils to the nose. I cannot conjure up any stories of roller coasters, TGVs, crazy carpet rides, or dances in seedy venues with it, as I do with other fragrances. It is too balanced, simply constructed, and focused on harmony for that. However, it is not boring; it is simply a connoisseur where others kick down the door. What I find most beautiful is that after about 20 minutes, when it has found its center and that of its wearer and completely takes hold of her with its golden essence, it plays its final trump card. It is the honey note from the beginning, which now gains depth as it settles, so deeply aromatic that one already wants to taste it in thought. This is what makes Reem Acra what it is. No fragrance revolution, no tumultuous adventure, and no turning night into day. Reem Acra makes the moment an experience. Being into feeling. And seeing into dreaming. And when you think that its essence has vanished into nothing, unexpectedly, one or another dream still comes along to extend the moment with it a little longer. On the first day, I already received compliments with it. And although it is currently freezing outside, I feel with it as if I am lifting off the ground and floating in the sun.
And I dance.
I dance in Golden Silk.

Gentle spicy/sweet/resinous floral with an oriental vibe. Like a cozy blanket for fall and winter.

I would love this in a natural oil form. I suspect it would bloom. Sillage and longevity are an issue. Sensational, otherwise.

Orange blossoms and jasmine. I've experienced it a hundred times already. Still, it's a lovely scent, perfect for everyday wear.

Nice little scent, reminds me a bit of Poeme by Lancome. Smells somehow "golden", not a new fragrance sphere but pleasant.

Reem Acra in the center, flanked by Elie Saab EdP Intense and Armani Code, delicate, golden middle with a touch of golden honey, luxurious and delicious!

Jasmine and orange blossoms, fresh, sweet - it's similar to Armani Code femme, but Reem Acra is lighter, more subtle, calmer.

Nice outfit, but inside it's just gum, then gum with flowers, then an unpleasant woody base. Smells rather cheap...
