Pure Rose
For true rose fans, this perfume could be a real gem. I was simply surprised when I saw this offer online.
This Bulgarian manufacturer named Refan has other rose fragrances as well - but this one appealed to me the most by name. I bought it without a prior test because at that price, I couldn't go wrong. 50 ml Eau de Parfum is around 10 euros.
I really have to say that this is a true rose bomb in an incredibly simple and boring container.
The initial impression when spraying is first "Oh, this is really strongly concentrated, I smell nothing but roses." You can't leave your nose on your wrist for too long, otherwise, the rose death sets in. ;-)
After about 10 minutes, you can already smell more precisely which direction the rose is going.
It seems to me to be a cool, light pink rose that grows very lush and wild.
Maybe a kind of water lily - if they even absorb scent. I perceive this fragrance as floral - aquatic. There is no warmth, just a kind of fresh sea rose breeze. Unlike "Roses and More," for example, which has a warm aura.
I really don't know what to compare this one to.
I think this is how a container full of the above-described roses must smell on a ship in the ocean, sailing ahead, and you get a hefty breeze from the wind coming towards you throughout the entire journey.
Somehow enchanting and somehow faint-inducing, which is probably why the scent has split my mind. I couldn't wear it too often because I would have to engage with it too much. It is very present. It is also a bit biting - in the sense of "After me, the flood." However, after a good half hour, it is really wearable if you have dosed it carefully. I wouldn't apply it more than three times in different spots.
For a hot summer night somewhere in Germany or Spain at 35 degrees in the shade, it's perfect. There isn't a single moment of uncomfortable sweating where you would have to wonder if you're still socially acceptable.
I will also test the other rose perfume with the red rose again.
That must be a knockout of a scent.
