Touch of Angels Ricarda M.

At first, I was overwhelmed by the certain masculine, rugged accents. I wanted to give it away in my thoughts, but I didn't know to whom.
Worn at work, it was loudly commented on by my dear colleague, who apparently has a very well-functioning sense of smell (but poor hearing, bad eyesight, and constant ailments), from 3 meters away with the following words (in the presence of patients):
"puuuiiihhh... Jasmine!!! Jasmine.....jasmine... uuuhhhii.... What is that? Man man.... oooohhhhrr !!! Booaarhh!!! ... it smells so rugged.. somehow rugged... and woody !! ... hm ! Hui !! Uijuijuhhiii.... Woody! But not bad. What is that ?? Huh ?? Huh ?? "
Yep...
I actually like it quite a lot now. It reminds me of Angel, but is quite different.
And as my colleague confirmed, it has a good sillage. It really lasts a long time. I also like to spray it in front of the apartment door, where it smells nice for me, guests, and neighbors for days.

~ Inspiration ~
I received a sample of "Touch of Angels" during a swap. Until then, I was unfamiliar with the brand Ricarda M.

~ Bottle ~
There are two versions: one is the tilted bottle in metallic blue, and the other is an elongated one with a gradient from blue and yellow to green. "Touch of Angels" translates to "Touch of Angels" and thus hints at its fragrance twin.

~ Scent ~
Upon application, I am greeted by minty toothpaste, which unfortunately remains in the background. Mandarins and black currants give it a fruity-tart undertone. Coriander adds a slight spiciness. Creamy vanilla, caramel, honey, and patchouli form a sweet yet also herbaceous-earthy base.

~ Longevity ~
On my skin, it lasts about 6 hours (a bit longer on clothing and hair). 2 sprays (from a distance) are enough to smell good afterwards - less is more here too!

~ Occasion ~
It unfolds best on cold days and evenings in autumn and winter (not an office scent).

~ Conclusion ~
You can immediately recognize the similarity to "Angel" by Thierry Mugler. However, it is not quite as screamingly intrusive as its predecessor. We still won't become friends...

It was a gift - although I always wonder "how on earth can someone give fragrances as a gift when they have no idea what the wearer really likes??!!??" Okay, it didn't even get unwrapped but went straight into the closet, maybe it can be used as a room spray or something else someday.

Then came the day when I had to do a big clean-up and it came back into my hands. Somehow I was curious about the scent and unpacked it to take a sniff, I was prepared for the worst. The bottle appealed to me very much, a blue/yellow gradient with silver in a tall, narrow, classic glass bottle. Oooookay - one spritz on my wrist and Halloooooo - it smells completely different than I expected! Not bad at all!

Regarding the scent description as I perceive it: at first, there is a very strong fruity/spicy blackcurrant top note that quickly transitions into the base. Then you smell wonderfully powdery floral-gourmand (is there such a thing?) with notes of caramel, flowers (I can't pinpoint which ones), vanilla, jasmine, and a hint of patchouli along with a subtle woody note. It is a very erotic and feminine scent. But all together, in a sophisticated way, harmonious and fitting.

Hours later, it is still good, although very subtle, perceptible, so the longevity is not the worst. It is a nice scent for winter or for evenings. However, I personally get "full" quickly and then crave variety since it doesn't really match my scent preferences. But now and then I have the urge and indulge in this little fragrance...

Just push aside the "shopping channel in the back of your mind" ;) and test it if you like sweet gourmand scents.
