Finally did the 1:1 comparison: they are by no means the same. The old version is a dream, rich, creamy, syrupy - the new one is some watery version and, as **sweethonesty** already said, a sour imitation.

I was directly told by Rituals that it should be the same scent. It's a shame if that's not the case. :(

I do think the scents are different! While the "old" fragrance smelled soft and cozy, the new version has the sour rhubarb in the foreground, and I can't even notice the lovely iris. Unfortunately, it's one of my misbuys this year, and then there's the large bottle...
