Warm and Soft

Recently, there was a nice promotion at Rituals: If you spend a certain amount, you receive two fragrance miniatures for free. Since I love the brand, I quickly reached the amount and was very curious about the two perfumes. Alongside this light pink bottle, there was also a dark one, which I found too strongly oriental and too spicy. So, this review will focus on Fleurs de L'Himalaya.

The rose is the most prominent note here, and it is a soft, warm, powdery rose. To be honest, I wouldn't have identified lemon; in my opinion, the fragrance has nothing citrusy about it at all. Jasmine, patchouli, and musk, on the other hand, blend beautifully together and allow the scent to gently fade away. If you like rose, especially in a modern interpretation, you will definitely feel at home here! On me, the fragrance lasts several hours, although it does lose some intensity and then lingers as a floral warmth on the skin. The name "Oriental Essences" fits this perfume very well, as the rose somehow reminds me of a bouquet you might buy on a hot day at an oriental market. I hope I described it reasonably well. :-D

I sense more peonies than roses in this clear, calm, quiet, and subtle scent. I don't notice much lemon or orchid.
