Oriental Essence - Fleurs de L'Himalaya Rituals 2015

The flowers of the Himalayas initially appealed to me more in perfumery. Spontaneously purchased, my enthusiasm wanes at home. Nevertheless, the scent is solid and should serve its purpose in the office.

This fragrance is clean with a bright, almost - and I emphasize almost - citrusy start. One of those scents that remind me of freshly made beds or freshly washed laundry. Relatively unobtrusive with moderate projection, it should fit well in the office under clean and clear.

The soapy undertone is not unpleasant for me, but it will certainly remind some of laundry detergent. This impression is softened by a hint of powdery warmth, preventing it from becoming too chemical. In the store, it still had a bright exotic floral component, which was likely suggested by the advertising presentation and its spicy companions on the shelf. Unfortunately, at home, there was nothing left to sniff. After about half an hour, it gains complexity, but surely it is neither a cornucopia of aromas nor does it shine with excessive richness of facets. After 2-3 hours, the last trace has disappeared for me.
The good side of this: It’s hard to overapply this fragrance. A seriously discreet companion for a polished impression at a moderate price: solid indeed.
