Oriental Essence - Maharaja d'Or Rituals 2016

How different noses can be (or skin surfaces?): I tried Maharaja d'Or twice in the store - each time just a spritz - and found the scent above average intense and long-lasting: The first hour has a slightly sharp-soapy lemony freshness, then for 4-5 hours an interesting mix of this freshness and spicy wood. The sweeter base note is still clearly detectable after 12 hours. For me, it's interesting, but a bit too synthetic and noticeably lacking in complexity.
