It has nothing to do with the Persian city of Shiraz, the birthplace of Hafez. Rhubarb doesn't fit at all in an oriental fragrance. Clarissa is right, it's a pleasant rose scent; I find it nice but pretty average. The name cleverly plays with expectations that aren't met... the company knows how to market. And really well, too.
