V Visa Robert Piguet 1945 Eau de Parfum

The reformulated Visa is an inoffensive fruity floral, distinguished from the contemporary lot mainly by quality rather than originality. I would love to smell the original formula, just out of curiousity. If I have the time another day, I should co-review this with Rihanna's "Nude" which has a very similar opening just to see if there is any point in buying Visa rather than Nude (which sells for roughly 1/10 of Visa's asking price). Not a bad perfume, and I like the powdery tones and the lack of ditziness mentioned by jtd, but I wonder if it really is worth it. The genre in its current state certainly seems to owe a lot to Visa, but it feels obsolete in its current formula.
