Many have compared the scent to CH Men Privé or equated the two. I can say that anyone who likes CHMP will definitely enjoy La Notte. Now comes the "but," as the fragrances do differ slightly from one another. Connoisseurs of Roberto Cavalli fragrances will likely have understood from the title what I meant by the RC DNA. In my opinion, Roberto Cavalli creates great scents at a reasonable price. Unfortunately, this fragrance line is, in my view, far too underrated. They can easily compete with newer releases from houses like Paco Rabanne or Versace, often costing less than half. I deliberately chose Paco Rabanne and Versace to illustrate the direction these fragrances often take. ("Sexy Playboy party scents")
Now to Roberto Cavalli Uomo La Notte. The fragrance opens with a light alcoholic note that quickly dissipates. Then comes a sweet note that likely stems from bergamot and lavender.
This sweetness remains present even in the drydown, but much more pronounced tobacco and leather join in. However, these are very wearable and combine wonderfully with the sweetness, which always maintains the upper hand.
Especially for inexperienced perfume enthusiasts regarding leather-tobacco scents, this is a good entry model. It doesn't always have to be a Tom Ford.
A downside might be the slightly synthetic sweetness that could trigger headaches for some.

He is definitely not as rounded and mature as a Dior Homme Intense or a Valentino Valentino Uomo Intense, but La Notte doesn't have to be/want to be that. The longevity is good, as it lasts between 6-9 hours depending on skin type. The sillage is average; the person next to you won't be overwhelmed, but they will definitely notice you in close situations.
I see the scent on a younger man going out in the evening who confidently flirts. More of a bad boy with a lot of self-confidence, but not yet a gentleman and still has a lot to learn, yet he still makes a great impression on women.
I hope I was able to give you a little insight into my subjective evaluation of the fragrance.
