The name!
The name just doesn't sound right.
Beguiled.
That's why I wear this perfume very rarely, because I can never remember how "it" actually smelled. And every time I realize: What a HUGE MISTAKE! I will simply write "Betört" on the bottle. The word doesn’t sound much prettier either, but at least I know what it’s about.
Beguiled starts off fresh and fruity and really very, very beautiful, but it doesn’t blow me away.
I’m not captivated yet. But!
When it then secretly and slyly connects with the body and its own warmth, an aura is created that cannot be ignored (and won’t be wanted to be ignored). It should actually be visible around me. In the color of the sky sometimes, rosy lilac with a bit of sun in the background.
And a scent develops that is truly enchanting. I want to hug myself constantly, gently yet with ulterior motives. It’s probably the pepper.
Floral, soft, caressing, somehow familiar and yet to be enjoyed with proverbial caution.
Kankuro has already hit the nail on the head in his statement about the perfume. I’m actually writing this review just so that the next time I look at "Beguiled," I immediately think: Ah, THAT! (I’m still not sure if I’ll relabel the bottle...)
Of course, it’s a floral Roja. Of course, you can tell it’s a floral Roja for women. Of course, you can tell that Roja has floral scents for ladies. He just does. And? That’s okay.
Beguiled is still different. And when I finally wear it again, like today, I still don’t know WHAT exactly it is that captivates and fascinates me about it. But that’s okay.
I believe that one rarely knows exactly WHAT it is that one finds attractive or indeed ENCHANTING about someone or something. Witchcraft? Could be.
In any case, I find myself extremely enchanting today. Primarily for myself, which is enough for me, because Beguiled lasts long, but it’s a rather quiet scent, with which you will only captivate those who come almost too close.
Perfect in that respect!

Yes, most Rojas are nice, but not so unique that these prices are justified.

"Because I can never remember what 'it' actually smelled like." --> The advantage is that you practically always have a new scent in your aunt's collection for free. That's pretty cool.

"Anyway, I find myself extremely alluring today," Maybe I would feel the same if I could see or smell you today! But as you said, the scent does the trick and you feel attractive! Beautifully described!

Your comment is wonderfully enchanting; it doesn't really matter whether the scent has a pleasant or clunky name. With guests, it's often said, "Those who want something rarely come," which can surely be applied to fragrances as well. Enjoy the not-so-frequent encounters, as there's less risk of growing tired of it.
