Unique Blast of Freshness with a spicy Touch

Oceania was supposed to be it and had been a long-desired candidate on my summer list in a small niche store in my town.

But let's get to the actual fragrance. A new scent immediately caught my eye on the shelf. Burlington.

A brief explanation: The owner knows that I have a weakness for excellently balanced fragrances that include mint in their DNA.
Don't get me wrong. No sweet, sticky mint. A perfectly balanced mint.

Upon spraying, a blast of freshness from citrus notes enveloped with mint hit me.
A fragrance DNA that I had never smelled before.
Very fresh, yet at the same time deep and warm DNA. Different from Oceania. A different freshness than other "freshies" that usually release their DNA in a citrus freshness paired with woody nuances in the drydown.

Later, in the heart, the dry warm character, brought forth by patchouli, tobacco, and rum, along with woody notes, joins in.

In my opinion, Burlington is elegant, fresh, dry, and at the same time warm.
An incredibly versatile talent for spring/summer/autumn
Day and night
Sillage is very strong for the first 20 minutes. After that, it remains present on my skin for over 8-10 hours.
