This is what my summer smells like
Oceania is the perfect fair-weather fragrance for me & I was delighted to wake it up from hibernation with the rising temperatures. My mood improves immediately when I smell it.
Pleasant fresh citrus, a bit of herbaceous coastal vegetation & a nice niveacrem base (in the best sense, not meant negatively at this point). Oceania is a freshie suitable for 30 degrees and yet elegant and high-quality - so you can be seen in a summer linen suit for a fine occasion as well as lying on the beach in swimming trunks. The bottle is super beautiful, the Oceania "plaque" is one of the prettiest in the lineup for me. However, the fact that Roja is increasingly rationalizing away the details such as the writing on the side and the Roja signature on the cap is somewhat questionable given the price range. That leads me to the elephant in the room.
The price, even if Oceania is a "cheap" Roja, is absolutely crazy. 395 euros for 100ml is not worth it for all the love in the world - anyone who pays full price must have a really big wallet. Longevity and sillage are ok for this kind of perfume, but the high price does not lead to a magical performance miracle. Incidentally, I didn't even notice Oceania for a while last year, I seem to go scent-blind with it very quickly.
But this summery Roja is definitely worth a test, it's fun!
