Cherry Punk Room 1015 2020 Eau de Parfum

I discovered Cherry Punk here without any prior knowledge, and it is an absolutely cool and exciting fragrance. You get a fruity dark cherry that is not sweet at all, but rather full-bodied and dry. Then the leather kicks in. And honestly, that's about all I perceive. Cherry and leather in a dry form. I actually prefer this significantly over the many sweet cherry scents that tend to give me headaches and also disturb the environment. I think this particular fragrance definitely requires a certain level of confidence to wear. There’s nothing delicate or understated about it; rather, the scent makes a statement for a really cool person. I don’t see this as a fragrance for work or for the couch, but more for the evenings when you want to hit the town or for a festival. In my opinion, it is definitely unisex, especially in the dry down where the leather dominates and the fruity cherry is less prominent. However, it never completely disappears. Additionally, over time a gentle sweetness joins in, but one that is truly subtle. Longevity and sillage are pleasant and sufficient for me. I generally believe in less is more.

Although I really like the scent, I’m not sure if I will keep it, as honestly, I lack the occasions to wear it. Even though the bottle looks really good in my collection and, aside from that, perfectly reflects the character of the scent. A truly successful cherry fragrance that is anything but ordinary.
