5 - Floral, Amber, Sensual Musk Rosendo Mateu - Olfactive Expressions 2017 Eau de Parfum

“Come on.. give yourself a push. You’re going to like it”

That was my thought before I ordered it blind..
I had seen the fragrances of Rosendo Mateu multiple times in YouTube videos. But there wasn’t much to read on Parfumo.
So I kept putting it off.. but we all know it: The desire for a fragrance grabs you and you order it.. faster than your wallet would like :)

Said and done ..

Picked up the package at my parents' place and drove back to the office with the thought “I’ll open the package only when I’m home..”
About 7 seconds later, I already had the scissors in hand to open the box :)

I open the package and spray directly once on the back of my hand..
Actually, I could have gone home from that moment on, as I was mentally dazed by this incredible scent.

To me, it smells somewhat like marzipan in the first minutes. I don’t really like eating it.. but in the top note paired with something floral, this fascinating opening almost knocked me over.
I must admit that I can’t smell the listed “spices”..
But I can definitely smell the carnation. Oh my God.. it’s heavenly. This elevates the fragrance so incredibly and, together with the vanilla, gives it such a beautiful depth. Simply wonderful !!

And then the musk.. folks, you can’t make it more seductive and sensual. I believe it’s perfect for a romantic evening ;)

The performance is absolutely beast mode.
On clothing, it lasts for days.. the bottle is high quality just like the packaging.

Moreover, the RM No5 is definitely unisex. Accordingly, I can definitely imagine it on a woman as well.

In summary, a super interesting and unique fragrance that offers a great price-performance ratio for the niche world and is definitely worth a sniff..
