Clove vs. Vanilla
Hooked by countless praises for this fragrance, I treated myself to a sample. What can I say, I just can't share the enthusiasm, as much as I would like to.
I believe it is the combination of clove and vanilla/amber that simply does not work for me. From the very beginning, I perceive something piercing, even musty, that reminds me of sweet sweat odor. However, I can well imagine that this candidate develops differently depending on skin type.
It has one big plus point: longevity and sillage are fantastic! It would definitely be worth the money if the scent is appealing.
