When I got my sample, I had no idea what the scent would smell like, and even after several tests, I find it hard to describe the fragrance or name individual notes. That’s exactly what makes the scent special for me. The first time I sprayed it, I was somehow immediately captivated, even though I initially had the rubber association mentioned here several times. I was surprised and couldn't believe that I still liked it. To me, the scent smells like rice pudding with a pinch of cinnamon. I only realized this when I read a statement here that describes exactly this olfactory impression. The rice pudding is accompanied by an underlying, spicy, rubber-like note. It might also lean towards leather. At first, this sounds rather off-putting, but without this note, the fragrance wouldn't be as addictive and warming as it is for me. I can pick out the "disturbing note," but I don't find it bothersome; I think that captures it. It makes the scent sexy and interesting. But you have to be open to it to be enchanted by it. The "5 - Floral, Amber, Sensual Musk | Rosendo Mateu - Olfactive Expressions" is warm, pleasantly spicy, vanilla-like, and absolutely beautiful for me. I perceive flowers only very lightly in the background, if at all. Longevity and sillage are impeccable; just one spray radiates for hours. I still like to spray it a few more times. When my sample is empty, it will probably move in.
That's true, it's hard to describe, but I think you've summed it up well - I perceive it just like you do, and without the "disruptive note," it would be only half as beautiful!
