I think this is the first crown fragrance that really speaks to me - especially because of your statement. Just based on the notes, I wouldn't have been that interested.
The retest after years confirms my references of sweet-earthy and soothing herbs, like in Baldi Occhio di Tigre, and its smoky-balsamic vanilla finish, similar to Shalimar. The initial statements from 6-7 years ago mentioned animalic and wild notes. I don’t get that, but rather a winter cuddle and a soul-soother, like a purring cat. The scent has depth, and every breath relaxes and warms on cold days like these.
The vanilla balm rush really intrigues me.
From the top notes and the base, it could also be an Amouage.
