Very helpful Review
Tropical Refreshment, Old School Type
The 53-year-old classic comes out sharp and hairspray-like, but calms down very quickly and then becomes what Apicius aptly described as "Barbershop Style." Incredibly nostalgic, but not a lemon, rather a lime (Limone?) and also not dripping with juice, as the bitter peel stands out beautifully in the foreground. I believe my barber (yes, that’s what they were called back then) had something like this when I was 6 and always had to say, "One Facon cut, please!" :)
A lovely memory and quite distinctive and unmistakable in the broad field of hesperidic fragrances. The simple note of "lime" in the fragrance notes hardly does justice to the balanced composition - similar to Coca-Cola, Royall Lyme of Bermuda makes a big mystery out of the formula.
We already know the downsides of these types of fragrances: longevity is about half an hour. But that half hour is worth it. If you like it, spray generously.
