Like Freshly Bathed
And once again, such a fragrance surprise that I stumbled upon thanks to this forum. My attention was immediately drawn to the perfumer Olivier Polge, who is responsible for two of my favorite scents: Bleu de Chanel and Allure Homme Sport. Can the supposed "house and court alchemist" of Chanel do much wrong? Probably not! Polge's Kenzo fragrances are also fine waters, even if they don't really play in my fragrance league, but that's a matter of taste.
And now to F, which coincidentally fits perfectly with my first and member name! :-) And yes: It also suits me because it unites freshness, fruit (again F), but also a subtle spiciness in a distinctive way. No ingredient stands out unpleasantly here, which I would have expected most from the "leathery notes," which only provide the foundation for the cozy fresh superstructure. This might seem a bit too "shower gel-heavy" for many, but this tiresome discussion probably always leads nowhere! ;-) Because on one hand, it's great if a shower gel smells good, but on the other hand, it doesn't necessarily honor a more expensive EDT if it reminds one of a cheap cosmetic product.
Aside from that, I would attribute a year-round freshness to F. When I think of the fruity body, I inevitably think of apples, but there are over 20,000 apple varieties (no joke). In any case, one can't go wrong with a price of €30 for 100 ml. The bottle is not exactly a decoration, but it's the content that matters. Longevity and sillage, on the other hand, could definitely be a bit more pronounced. So it clearly goes in the direction of "reserved-subtle."

And I actually think the bottle is really cool, something different and nicely masculine.
Anyway, F for trophy! ;P
