Armani Code Profumo for €13
Armani Code Profumo is one of the most beautiful designer fragrances on the market for me.
Once I tested it, I fell a little in love with this scent.
Unfortunately, the price is also not insignificant.
That's why Bound for Men piqued my curiosity, as it is said to be a dupe of the Armani.
However, I couldn't relate to the brand at all.
I had never heard of Sapil before.
So I was initially a bit skeptical.
But then I found out that Sapil belongs to Swiss Arabian, and they are known for good quality.
Therefore, I decided to give the perfume a chance, and at €13.00, the risk is not too high.
And indeed, I was not disappointed; on the contrary, I got much more than I expected.
Aside from the slightly more synthetic opening, the perfume is almost identical (at least as far as I remember) to the original.
In the opening, Bound is a tad fruitier than the original.
However, the fruity notes fade quite quickly and give way to cardamom, nutmeg, and lavender.
Gradually, the leather also comes to the fore.
As the scent develops, it becomes sweeter, warmer, spicier, and creamier.
In my opinion, the sweet tonka bean causes this delicious creaminess.
I find that great, as I’m not a big fan of leather and prefer sweeter scents without too much leather in them.
The amber is quite subdued but gives the fragrance a certain warmth and spiciness.
So everything is just as I remembered it from the original.
Sweet, spicy, slightly leathery, and very, very creamy, almost chocolatey-it's simply a beautiful perfume.
The scent is great, but how is the performance?
6 sprays and I could still easily perceive it after 7 hours.
In the first 2 hours, I almost felt nauseous because I was in a small room with several people, and it was too much.
So the performance is really very strong.
An 8.5 out of 10 for sillage and longevity.
When can you wear this beautiful piece? I wouldn't wear it in summer; it's too sweet and too potent.
So I probably have to wait a few months again.
My conclusion: Totally blind-buy worthy if you know and like the original.
It is the best of the dupes I have tested so far, and for this small price, I can only tip my imaginary hat.
I love it and would recommend it to anyone looking to save some serious money.
There is one downside, though: the bottle is made of very cheap plastic, which you have to keep in mind, but otherwise, I am completely satisfied.

By now, I'm quite experienced with blind buys, partly thanks to Parfumo here and partly due to the fragrance pyramid; you can really select and read between the lines.
But you can find the scent on Not zum ino 😂.
It's currently sold out, but it should be back soon.
You have to be quick though, it seems to sell out fast.
