Sweet Surrender: A Gourmand Delight
This fragrance is unapologetically sweet – think diabetic levels of sweetness. If you're not a fan of gourmand scents, steer clear. It's sweeter than 1 Million and less fresh, with a similar sweetness profile to Lattafa Qaed Al Fursan and a touch of Invictus Victory's vibe. While not bad at all, it's definitely a sugary experience.
Compared to my Code Parfum, this one is extremely sweet, less powdery than I'd hoped, and surprisingly, perhaps even fresher (which isn't ideal in this case). The silage is impressively strong, even surpassing Code Parfum, which is remarkable. However, the scent profile itself, while decent, doesn't quite reach the sophistication of Code Parfum. You can detect hints of the Code DNA beneath the overwhelming sweetness. For the price, though, it's an excellent value.
