I believe I have matured.. I used to be a fan of overly sweet drugstore vanilla scents. There was one in an aluminum bottle with colorful flowers on it. Phew, I loved it. Nowadays, however, these kinds of fragrances belong to the category that makes me feel nauseous.
Since NR for her is highly praised on social media, I took a closer look at it. So, I grabbed the tester and gave it a sniff.. well, what can I say.. I didn't like it at all. Not just that one.. but all from this line. I think I just wasn't ready yet. Some time later, I received a tester of NR for her and Pure Musc at home - just like that.. as if fate knew. And suddenly it was love!
Of course, I had to research everything about the fragrances. Well, that's when I stumbled upon Lovely. I've heard from many corners that they prefer Lovely over NR for her. And since it is much more wallet-friendly, it went straight into the shopping cart.
Well, Lovely starts with a burst of lavender. If you didn't know better, you might think someone has crushed fresh pine needles. It is accompanied by something like a fresh lime peel. I can also smell the mandarin.
The top note never completely disappears but remains present in the background. However, sweet floral components, light woods, and above all, musk come to the forefront. I don't find it powdery.
The fact that it is a 10 Euro (!) celebrity scent is not noticeable at all.
The fragrance feels mature to me. But not at all outdated. It feels distant, clean, serious, and is basically the opposite of playful. It is for days when I want to be taken seriously. It gives me the feeling of being a woman who stands firmly in life.
