Industrial raspberry cookie

The raspberry is dominant in the first few hours of Oriens. The praline gives a chocolate-y aroma. The drydown is a mixture of vanilla, amber and patchouli, soft and tender.

I wanted to like it. However, the raspberry note bothers me. It's not crisp and juicy, but more like synthetic raspberry flavour smell. Along with praline, it smells like an industrial raspberry cookie or biscuit, and sadly, not a home-cooked one.

Luscious and yet Refined Oriens has an dual identity
It's sexy without being agressive it's a high class
seduction subtle never demands it but you can feel it

Berry harvest in the autumn sun

Today the obligatory walk over the flea market - and the lingering at the fragrance stands, where the multicolored flacons shimmered in the autumn sun.

A sea of bottles - but which message in a bottle from distant shores was addressed to me?

Testing is not carried out there.
There are the targeted buyers, and the players who like to be surprised.
I'm one of the latter.

The round bottle with the violet-goldcopper lid caught the mild rays of the sun best.
In addition the silver leaf garland - very imaginative and special.

And the full colours reflected in the light indicate the rich berry harvest captured in the scent.

Ripe sweetish tart currant blends with soft raspberries - but without sticky jams impression.
The aquatic mandarin allows the aromatic fruits to flow transparently.
In the background I hear a whiff of storage apples, which provide for homeliness.
The white of the jasmine is broken into cream, but looks discreetly elegant.
Fresh lilies of the valley convey playful cheerfulness, and the water flower emphasizes the flowing of the fragrance.
The woods are flexible and do not weigh down the Oriens.
Light patch is the oriental touch that is topped by creamy nougat.

I had expected something clearly oriental because of the naming, but Oriens goes only quite tenderly in this direction.

But I am not disappointed, because this message in a bottle has a pleasant and interesting content.

I'm glad she landed with me
