Daim Rouge Sentifique 2014

This is a scent for me!

Completely whole. Entirely.

One of those creations that I would NEVER layer ;-)

Do you know those perfect compositions that need to stand alone? When I wear a fragrance like Daim Rouge, nothing else can disturb it. Neutral body lotion, neutral deodorant… and then enjoy.

Since I'm currently on a leather trip, I'm especially excited to test this fragrance.

I need several attempts here. Of course, I understand that these creations are built linearly. But my untrained nose needs to get a whiff more often. Somehow, these treasures don't deserve to be just briefly
(perhaps only on paper?! ;-) "tested".

Even though I only had a sample, a quick note on the bottle:
The design is consistent, but I don't find it innovative anymore. Simply beautifully classic - but "playing it safe" and thus boring. Also the typography: where are the emotions? Delicate, shallow everyday waters - "not disturbing" or sporty - have such simple bottles. But these loud hits?

That's why I like Daim Rouge so much; I want it bold and strong: the highest concentration of oils. This also provides above-average longevity.

Many (recommend) find honey scratchy-sweet-bitter, here it is soft-sweet and cuddly.
The tea rose is delicate and lovely and wonderfully rounds off the fragrance experience.
I usually steer clear of berries, as they often end up in synthetic-seeming teenage fruit waters. But here they feel so real and ripe that they ooze with juice. Not rotten, but sensual! Thanks to these berries, it finally becomes erotic!

And what else is there? Mmmhh…. why can't I get this lipstick accord out of my nose? Is the leather perhaps toxic in color? That's how color pigments smell! A bright pink suede bag appears before my inner eye. However, the leather note is overall too weak for me. Especially compared to the leather fragrances I have tested so far. Just for that, a 10% deduction (yes, yes the expectations - why do I even read the "fragrance pyramid"/ingredients beforehand)
- otherwise perfect for me and thus a true wish candidate!
