Wear me if you are self-confident!
It was a bad buy at first because I had gotten an offer on Amazon. I searched for this fragrance here and thought I had found it. Unfortunately, I was looking for the wrong Serge Lutens on Parfumo. I realized it late and looked a second time before I saw that this fragrance contains rose and is unisex. I've never been a fan of rose fragrances but thought I'd give it a try.
When the package arrived and I held the bottle in my hand, which is very simple but beautiful, I first sprayed it on a piece of kitchen paper. It is definitely a very nice fragrance but for a man? I struggled with myself for a very long time and thought to myself that if a man wears this fragrance consciously, he definitely has self-confidence, because the rose really stands out and has a very feminine touch.
I just didn't dare to wear it and compared a scenario that looks like this:
A shy man who is a 5 and sees a lady who is an 8 or 9 and doesn't dare to speak to her. That's roughly how I felt.
After two days, I dared to spray it on. Then the delicately spicy sandalwood rises to the nose. At the same time, the Turkish rose, which is always present throughout the fragrance. Very harsh at first but that fades pretty quickly. After a short time, I only notice it when the wind blows around my nose. But I have to say that the more often I smell this fragrance, the more I like it.
It really lasts a long time on clothes and skin and I can also smell sweet fruity notes in the top note. I find the cocoa in the heart note, but in my opinion only very briefly so that it doesn't really need to be mentioned.
The scent makes me imagine a walk in winter... it's getting dark but you can already hear the birds chirping. For me, this fragrance heralds spring.
