Sport Extreme Sergio Tacchini 1993 Eau de Toilette

Mafiosi at the Gym - When Sports Were Really Cool!
Many thanks to ChrisChross99 from Austria who simply included this 90s rarity for free with Yatagan. Before he stops using the perfume altogether. A very noble gesture. And on top of that, a really good sport scent that exudes as much 90s feeling as I haven't experienced on my skin in a long time, could just as well come from Versace in the 90s (strongly reminiscent of Versus Uomo) and shows 90% of the sport fragrances from the last 6 years how it's done right. Most sport fragrances from this trend wave of 2008-2013 are a joke, and this one is completely different and miles ahead.
Sergio Tacchini - you hardly hear anything about the brand these days. But this little 30 ml bottle has a lot to offer, and it performed well at the gym today. Not a wonder of perfume art - but solid craftsmanship from the spicy-aquatic techno decade. I hope I can help a few people with this first comment (and possibly also the last one^^) and remind them of youth and machismo - and I mean that very positively!
Since neither the perfumer nor the ingredients are listed above, and there is hardly anything to find online, I will now at least try to provide some clarification on the latter. It starts spicy and citrusy. Pepper, maybe just a hint of cardamom. It also somewhat reminds me of sharpened pencils like Lalique White. Just with a spicier charm and sportiness. However, I can unfortunately also smell a rather strong synthetic note. After this salty-spicy, southern Italian sea breeze during a bike ride, everything becomes more subdued, the woods settle down, and a deep, southern sweetness emerges. But only subtly. Who knows, maybe tonka. Although, of course, there's still a good amount of saltiness here. Thus ends this little but fine athlete from a lost era.
Unfortunately, the bottle has DM quality, and the 90s charm doesn't help anymore. Sillage is good and just at the threshold that fellow gym-goers are not overwhelmed in the weight area. Longevity is 6-7 hours.
One likes to look back, and such treasures help with that. I hope I can use it more often than the giver! Thanks again!
