... the creators of this product must have thought. The opening and middle phase clearly remind me of DHS 2008. Which is not a bad thing, personally I like the "08" Dior even the best of all its versions.

Well, I didn't suspect this, it was a blind purchase: very low price, very likely a summer freshie from a brand I find very appealing.

So: the opening is perfume-citrusy, hardly sweet. Then the dominant mentioned DHS note (without iris). Somehow rosemary-like, but basically I find this note a velvety-transparent spice. Cashmeran in mini doses, that's how I perceive it, sprinkled with all sorts of usual airy-herb-salt-contemporary vibes. Definitely not a shower gel or cheap, not at all. A pleasant scent of perfume quality.

A noteworthy dry down does not develop. The scent impression remains quite uniform until it fades, a slightly too sweet clean musk comes to the fore, fortunately only very subtly.

So, anyone missing the iris-free Dior Homme Sport from 2008 should grab this. What the Tacchini unfortunately lacks is the elegant incense note in the early dry down and the crisp-dry woodiness is also missing. Perhaps more of a DHS/Cologne mix after all. A simplified summer homme sport, yet not a cologne clone.

I find the bottle simply functional-chic. 30ml compact suitcase size.
