smells like watermelon rind warming in the sun

It starts off with a burst of tropical houseplant, then subsides into what is to me a single note of real watermelon rinds from a lunch picnic that everyone throws in a bowl to compost later, and the bowl sits out for the whole garden party so when you're cleaning up at the end around 5 or 6, it has that warm watermelon smell that is a little more sour and acidic than cold watermelon, and not as sugary as the pink part. Which is not to say that I didn't like the perfume...honestly smelling like a real melon out in the sun in the garden is fairly to my taste, so I see myself using up the sample easily. Not sure I'd buy a full bottle, as smelling like a photorealistic summer melon isn't right for absolutely every event. It is for some though! I could see myself decanting again as next spring starts heating up into summer.
