Note de Parfum - Bouquet de Bois Sinfonia di Note
4
The Aroma of Wild Forests and Unconventional Women
I find it relatively difficult to find herbal-aromatic fragrances that do not come across as both bitter and masculine. 'Bouquet de bois' is at least a unisex fragrance, and I am not sure if I would want to wear it publicly, as I generally prefer something a bit more feminine.
Nevertheless, I can indulge in this scent. I smell herbs, cedar, hay, clear water, and spices that I cannot name. A walk through a light mountain forest with a stream and majestic cedars swaying in the wind is an apt association. I also think I can sniff out a slight mint note and possibly some anise. You can wear 'Bouquet de bois' at 30 degrees in the shade or let yourself be fascinated by it in sub-zero temperatures. I find the scent more aquatic than woody, but I can imagine it unfolds well in winter too.
The longevity is good, and the sillage is decent. I gifted the decant to my friend, so I get to enjoy it without having to wear it myself, as it doesn’t quite suit me.
Conclusion: An aromatic-woody-herbaceous fragrance for confident women who enjoy standing out from the crowd.
