Tok'Yo Mama Fizzzzz Smell Bent 2011

At first, I wasn't very enthusiastic about this scent, as I expected a similar vibrant zest as in "Soda" from the Synthetic Series by Comme des Garçons, and initially, in direct comparison, I only perceived a somewhat muted, slightly orange lemonade. However, the more I wear "Tok’Yo Mama Fizzzzz," the more I like it; my perception has changed quite a bit, and I now appreciate it a lot.

What do I perceive? Slightly bitter citrus fruits, underpinned by distinctly green and also woody notes, accompanied by a considerable amount of ozone. Although the impression of "fizziness" is missing here, it is still quite refreshing, just like a lemonade without carbonation refreshes very well (and even in a more digestible way).

For a lemonade scent, "Tok’Yo Mama Fizzzzz" is therefore a rather calmer fragrance, but Smell Bent still interprets the theme in their usual quirky manner, as the ozone note gives the scent a spacey peculiarity that makes it very appealing and unique.

Maybe this is what a Japanese space lemonade smells like...?
