Described as "guava, orchid, and pink musk," Hrm, those aren't traditionally-derived perfume ingredients (unless you count vanilla as an orchid scent, but I don't know if the blossoms have a smell), so it's another case of naming some molecules and seeing if the customers agree.
At first it smelled candy sweet. Then there were leafy green notes that reminded me of the Royal Hawaiian's Maile (used to make green leaf leis) scent. But unlike their body wash that I brought back from the hotel years ago and am sadly about to run out of, 48 is hinting at plasticky artificial notes. I am also smelling the "coconut water." Strangely, a bit later we picked up a hint of the promised fruitiness, with the tiniest whiff of spice, maybe allspice?
Maybe wear this to lounge by the pool in the evening.
