Earthiness and Vast Landscapes
Aétei by Source Adage is beautiful and very hard for me to categorize. It seems to fit only in the spicy realm, but that is certainly not all!
Initially, there is a clear violet note - lovely and unique - but it is neither a floral nor a green scent. Patchouli is very spicy here, balanced and not too intense :-) I can distinctly smell clove, but it does not dominate everything, as is often the case in perfumes that contain it. Later, the fragrance becomes subtly smoky and woody - but the spice is what remains.
A very special, primal, earthy, deep, and truly unique scent: Dark and mystical, but not only that - also vastness and nature and grand landscapes...

In terms of intention and intensity, it somehow reminds me of the old #Shiseido Féminité du bois?!?
