Lemon Dances Tarantella

During a conversation with Yatagan about the fragrances of "I Profumi di Firenze," I remembered that he had sent me a sample of "Limone di Sicilia" a few months ago.
I had truly forgotten about it and I thank him very much for reminding me of this delightful mood-lifter.

Verbena is a fragrant and visual delight for any garden bed; also for balconies and terraces.
I love this slightly tart, somewhat dark, yet fresh scent of verbena.
This healing herb has many beautiful names: wish herb, cat's blood herb, druid or legend herb.
I particularly enjoy this herbal power dried as a tea preparation.
Verbena tea helps with respiratory issues and soothes stressed nerves.
One or two cups of it relieve tension and stress effects and ensure restful sleep!
A versatile scent beauty indeed!
By the way, many French people enjoy a cup of verbena tea after a meal instead of an espresso: the well-known "tisane." (Not just Hercule Poirot swears by it!)
The dried herb is so voluminous that when I buy a 100-gram bag, I always take an extra fabric bag with me; and hardly home, I first enjoy this delightful scent that escapes from the vacuum-sealed bag.

Thus, "Limone di Sicilia" opens my senses; the first spray delights and relaxes.
Wonderful deep herbal aromas, which are quickly overlaid by the freshness of the special Sicilian lemons.
Lemon is the scent mistress here, but allows verbena its place. This makes the fragrance more pleasant for me: fresh and herbal and not too prickly in the nose and eyes!
A beautiful Sicilian woman indeed; but also a bit of a "country child"; elegance gives way to lively, slightly sparkling naturalness.
But what would a citrus scent be without the beauty and tenderness of the orange blossom?
It enchants time and again and fits perfectly this time as well; "Limone di Sicilia" receives a heartfelt warmth!

This fresh yet rich fragrance canon is a true joy, not just on warm summer days.
It carries a lot of the special fluid of the rustic-beautiful, historically rich, and lush green Mediterranean island within.
"Limone di Sicilia" vibrates with life; the life in the shadow of an still active volcano.
Thus, this fragrance composition, created with much skill and empathy, reminds one of beautiful Tarantella dancing girls and women: it develops a very special kind of "dance on the volcano"!

Like most fragrance creations from "I Profumi di Firenze" - a still underestimated brand that has won the hearts of its admirers - "Limone di Sicilia" is also not a permanent guest.
For a few hours, this enchanting aroma arrangement envelops and plays refreshingly and kindly.
For me, verbena keeps waving: it just won't let itself be pushed into the corner.

I thank Yatagan for the sample he provided back then and especially for reminding me - perhaps unintentionally.
So I will repay him with a cup of verbena tea!

The scent of verbena tea is still vivid in my memory. Every evening, there was a cup of it on the table at my grandparents' house. I'm sure they would have enjoyed the described fragrance as well. It was a pleasure to read.

I also think it's an underrated brand. Beautiful, lovingly designed bottles, by the way.
