Myrrh Elemi starts off floral, powdery, and somehow a bit dull or stuffy; I just can't find the right adjective for it. However, this changes quite quickly when a lovely creaminess joins in, likely derived from vanilla and musk. Despite the amber and vanilla, ME does not become sweet. I feel a little reminded of Cornubia by Penhaligon's. However, ME - although more present in this phase than other fragrances from IPdF - is not as punchy. This first part lasts for about 1 - 1 1/2 hours on me. During this time, ME retreats towards the skin. For a while, it presents a velvety fruitiness and then transitions into a spicy-woody hint. Overall, I can perceive ME for 6/7 hours.
(Sorry, I just couldn't come up with a meaningful title).
I only recognize the myrrh in the mustiness. And where is elemi? I don't understand the name of this fragrance after reading your comment and the pyramid.
