the spirit of Christmas resides in this flacon

While I was washing up, the red cabbage was simmering next to me on the stove; the venison goulash for tomorrow calls for it. The ingredients-apples, cloves, honey, and figs-were just beginning to unite in the most sensual way. They formed a harmonious whole.
This is always a special moment in cooking when many ingredients become one!
My thoughts floated on the wings of this kitchen scent, and suddenly I remembered a sample of "Spezie de' Medici."
Sought - found - tested again!

"I Profumi di Firenze" is a small manufactory that always creates very special fragrances.
Their ingredients often come from not too far away; if we overlook the exoticism of the vanilla pod here.
The surroundings of Florence, its hills and further plains generously provide what can be used to create these fine scents.

An entrée of orange peels: who doesn’t fondly remember this fragrance that develops as these fruits are peeled? The first memory of Christmas already makes its presence known.
Together with the freshness of lemon, a truly fruity opening is formed.
This is also necessary! Because now the box with the spices is opened!
Clove and nutmeg, special favorites of mine in the kitchen, meet the delicate scent beauty of orange blossom: the result is spicy-warm, complemented by the juicy freshness of the two greeting fragrance notes.
Cinnamon, a guarantee of warmth and Christmas baking, completes the previous fresh-spice arrangement.
However, this fragrance still lacks a bit of stability and depth.
Now, red and black pepper come into play (which for me means: caution!). They give the composition, quite literally, the right "pep"!
"Spezie de' Medici" is pleasantly rounded off by generously applied velvety-warm vanilla.
Only now is this fragrance creation complete and could serve as the base for any Christmas baking!

But even as a scent, "Spezie de' Medici" is a true joy; it accompanies you for several hours, slowly becoming finer and more fragile. But it doesn’t become emptier; instead, it leaves a trace that possesses a very special allure.
An aromatic fragrance that turns any "hairy" sweater-I’m thinking of cashmere, angora, or mohair-into a "feel-good oasis."
You would prefer not to part with this fragrant piece at all.

"Spezie de' Medici" is a lovely companion not only for Christmas. But today, it fits particularly well.
Perhaps tonight would be the perfect opportunity to free the "spirit of Christmas" from the bottle, its puristic glass flacon?

Great, helpful tip! I really like the brand, I've owned various fragrances and tested many. Most of them don't blow me away, but they're usually pleasant and nice!
