From Saulouce to Paulouce

"Simple business plan: Small Italian label with insider stamp and the niche freaks will, foolish as they can be, buy every nonsense, especially since I Profumi di Firenze perfumes are bargains among mini-label scents.
However: This speculation cannot work with Talco Delicato - the completely normal sense of smell should warn one against harmful things. The smell of decay, excrement, and pus is quite reliably recognized. This rotten lemon will not be profitable, no, it won't!
When you cut open a lemon because you only need 1-2 slices for a drink and forget the rest in the kitchen,… forget for a long time,… loooong,... then this lemon reminds you of itself: Dried out and with orange-colored flesh, it smells sweetly decomposing, but somehow still sour, and a white, powdery mold travels along its peel. That, exactly that, is the smell of Talco Delicato.”

…. I THOUGHT.
And I was WRONG!
It was the result on the PAPER STRIP!

When I wanted to find words for a total demolition into tiny little pieces, I reluctantly sprayed Talco Delicato on the back of my hand, serving the Parfumo mission beyond the pain threshold…
… and experienced a beautiful scent!
The rotten lemon shows itself only on the test strip; there is not a trace of it on the skin, not the slightest!
A beautiful, slightly sparkling, not too glaringly bright fresh lemon note initially sparkles in beautiful clarity on the skin until it is gently stroked and powdered by a soft puff. Several layers of powder increasingly envelop it, and its radiant yellow becomes more and more light beige. A delicate, clean sweetness is added. A lovely little violet brings charming, dainty floral notes, and slowly, very slowly, the lemon becomes almost completely invisible under the velvety talcum dust. Now the light scent becomes heavier and thicker: A warm, cozy vanilla with a touch of honey sweetness is slightly loosened by woody accents and spreads a fluffy soft feather bed for the long-lasting and now slightly "muddy" powder scent.
A skin-close scent from the skin scent league with pleasing, dense powderiness whose brightness and freshness transition into an ultra-matte and sweet powder cleanliness.

And it smells completely different on paper (rotten lemon). A difference like day and night! I strongly recommend the skin test for anyone who likes powder scents, skin scents, and/or lemon! They can discover a real treasure here.

EDIT: *sigh* After today's full-day and work test and the drastically many (really in rows!) good feedbacks ("Mmmh, that puts me in a good mood!", "Wow, this is bright and cheerful, you never smell like this!", "Your fabric softener has a nice scent."...), I have no choice but to raise the rating by 10% and buy Talco Delicato.

another EDIT: By now, I know this treasure quite well. It should be noted: It is bombastically long-lasting (for a powder lemon) and has a decent sillage. It tops every other scent on the skin, nothing with layering - a tiny spritz of TD and everything else is gone without a trace. It is strongly perceived from the outside and can be smelled in wool clothing FOREVER. A very, very strong powder lemon!

I like it. But only in fresh wind and below 10°C! Intense, intense.

Yes, there is a similarity to Cologne Blanche, but honey & vanilla create a wonderful, cozy powder effect. It smells like a gentle hug to me! Rating: Two thumbs up, great!!!

My goodness, Lu, what a fresh, lemony start!!! I'm thrilled and very, very curious to see how it develops further!! In any case, it's super exciting, if not much, much more... :-)))

Why are you giving it 90% if it smells musty? I really don't understand your comment here, and outsiders definitely won't either. Is the perfume good or disgusting?

I always find powdery scents problematic, but skin scent sounds good. And lemon is always a winner. I'll keep this one in mind.

@ Clover: Yes, I thought that too.
The title alone deserves a trophy. And the description - especially in the first half: I've rarely laughed so hard! Great!

While reading your first paragraph, I was already thinking: And why is she giving it 80% now? Well played! :-)
