Right from the start: VeZ disappointed me. I expected, according to the fragrance description, a vanilla scent through the clove and ginger that I like, namely unsweetened, but fresh (like a scraped vanilla pod) and spicy, perhaps even a bit bitter. I will probably never understand why vanilla has to be mostly sweet. I love vanilla, but not the sticky sweetness that often accompanies it. And that is the case here. Not even the cypress, which simply refuses to show itself to me, can save it. There is also a strange synthetic note present that I cannot categorize. The fragrance does not develop either, but "evaporates" relatively quickly; the longevity really leaves much to be desired. Yes, there are really much better vanilla perfumes, even in a more affordable price range!
