I ordered this fragrance blindly from "Spezierie Palazzo Vecchio." I thought to myself, with this "ingredient list," I really can't go wrong. And I was not mistaken:
The top notes are fresh but not zesty, a little bit bitter as if the skins of the fruits were also processed. Shortly thereafter, slightly green and spicy notes join in, which I would attribute to angelica. Within 30 minutes, "Cashmere" becomes a floral-green-spicy scent. Angelica, so to speak, is distinctly perceptible above the flowers, which I couldn't distinguish without the above announcement. After four to five hours, with my nose on my skin, I arrive at the base notes; it is sweet, creamy, and I can't directly identify a wood note. Sometimes, the heart notes still waft around my nose from my T-shirt. I actually find the base a bit boring here. I would have wished for a bit more spice or a little more strength.
The longevity is in the medium range at 5 - 6 hours. That's not abundant, but I think it's acceptable. The same goes for the sillage, which I would classify as weak to medium.
"Cashmere" is not a showstopper, unique, or anything in that direction, but rather a practical everyday scent that I like. So far, I know only a few green or greenish fragrances that I enjoy; this one will be among them in the future.
For your information:
While browsing the "I Profumi di Firenze" fragrances, I noticed yesterday that "Il Fiume e il Salice" and "Cashmere" have an identical fragrance pyramid. "Il Fiume e il Salice" is no longer listed on the manufacturer's homepage. I reported this to our diligent research team yesterday. Let's see what comes of it.
This is really a very nice scent that suits every mood. You described it very charmingly; I can take my time with a comment because you've actually said/written it all.
Everyday fragrances are sometimes a bit underrated here, a view I don't share: I face the challenge every morning of smelling good, refined, and not trivial, while also not being a nuisance in the open office around me. That's why I appreciate any tips for nice everyday scents.
