Spirit of Violet Kiss Spirit

I boldly grabbed Spirit of Violet Kiss from the shelf today because it’s often said that the Spirit fragrances offer something useful at the lowest price.

Unfortunately, I cannot agree with that here. The top note smells extremely like hairspray. There’s not much else to perceive. The violets and roses remind me of various cheap deodorants that were trendy among young girls in the nineties because they were affordable. They didn’t exactly stink but smelled very aggressively synthetic. This scent then fades after about an hour. There’s no base to be perceived.

I’m well aware that you can’t expect much for €5, or that it’s quite difficult to find something wearable at that price. Therefore, I would really recommend adding another five and getting a Betty Barclay perfume or a VS body spray. Affordable, nice, and good, and I fully understand that younger people have little money, but before smelling like a nineties trash party, I would recommend saving a bit more for something better.
