The prayer flute
Little girl was now an ancient flute woman.

So she picked up her ancient flute
and prayed it on television.
It was broadcast to the whole world,
but again nothing happened.
"We are not reaching many places yet,"
said Dr. Tonningworm.
"I'll tell you what we have to do.
We have to get them into the air,
Up into the sky!"

The great nations of the world
joined forces
and built a great rocket,
which had approximately the shape
of a flute.
They attached a capsule,
into which the old woman was to go.
They gave her a microphone
and explained to her
how to handle it.
At the top they attached two huge
Speakers, and they shot
the rocket high above the earth
and around the moon.

She prayed the song in space.
From the moon
she saw the wonderful globe-
blue and peaceful
she moved through space.
"My mother," she sighed,
"my mother."

She landed in the Pacific,
and the boys from the navy
fished her up.

The Prayer Flute - The Song of Mother Earth

*

I have this book quite often
together with my little son
and when the scent came to me,
the previous passage in it reminded me
in it reminded me so strongly of it.
For me, the fragrance really
a great challenge for me,
as it is very difficult to
to identify individual notes
or to describe them.
Here is my attempt:

Far out in the atmosphere...
Ozone but also water at the same time
and green, then again everything diffuse
as if through a layer of cloud,
before flowers, metal and stones
touch each other and become a whole
become one...
A capsule in a room in between
from whose loudspeakers an intense
and at some point deeply touching song sounds
and at times
even booms and shakes...

The Blue Marble features the famous photograph of Earth taken in 1972 by the crew of Apollo 17 on their way to the moon, when it showed the vulnerability and uniqueness of Earth
in the vastness of space.
The fragrance consists of seven accords,
that represent the interwoven systems of our
Earth.
It is intended to inspire personal
to reflect on these complex connections,
as well as provide the opportunity to
them from a different perspective
to perceive.
With Blue Marble, Diane St. Clair is entering
a completely new terrain for me,
that leaves the usual comfort zone.
Thank you all so much for reading!!!

Hope never dies
Ozone
The earth a blue ball...
Even if the world weeps a thousand green tears,
until the water carries creamy waves over the land...
Earth turns to clay and smells of Mitti...
Stone deserts
Sweating geosmin...
Flowers freeze to ice in the pale silvery haze of the dying sun...
a scent of yesterday floats in the spaceship...
Back then - memory...
People lost in space...

But hope never dies

When a first fluffy cloud quietly makes its way...
a moss lichen spreads cheekily over a stone...
a little bee, still weak, searches for food...
(Where had it been hiding?)...
then I come home...
feel warm and safe in the soft green-brown...
and above it is still blue.

Diane thinks a lot about the effects of environmental influences on the earth's ecosystems and wants to show the beauty of these ecosystems and their fragility in this fragrance. She has achieved this wonderfully. For me, it has become a fragrance full of hope. The fragrance consists of 7 fragrance accords, some of which I can smell, others I cannot. For example, I find it difficult to make out the individual flowers, but they are very cool flowers, almost unapproachable.
On the surface, it is a decidedly green fragrance, with a distinct ozone, almost pungent in the opening, which also has creamy notes.
When you delve deeper, it is incredibly exciting and reveals many facets. Once again, it's a fragrance where the less I apply, the more I discover. If I spray more, then the green and the ozone are also too striking for me.
In any case, exciting to test.
