A sea of light...
wraps the world in magic
warms me - opens my heart.
Lets my soul grow -
shine until I am illuminated too!

Panthea left me somewhat puzzled during the first tests. I found the scent beautiful but not particularly special. The bottle could settle in but just as quickly leave again. Somehow, I couldn't connect with this fragrance. However, Panthea wouldn't leave my mind.
New attempt ... and no regrets :)
Like a sea of light full of magic ...
radiant - white - filled with light - dew-kissed - pure - angelic!
About the scent:
Panthea starts with tangerine, bergamot, and a generous portion of pepper plus green-herb-resin notes (I guess that's from elemi resin - luckily I don't smell any carrot!)
Tobacco flowers and a tea nuance float in the scent progression, creating a cool atmosphere.
Slowly, floral notes sneak in. Garden carnation and violet blend with jasmine, while iris dusts everything with purple powder.
The base is rich with musk, patchouli, woody tones, and tonka beans (the tonka bean is only subtly sweet and that too only very late in the base!)
Panthea is a radiant clean musk fragrance (cool-floral-creamy-green-woody-patchouli) that only Stéphane Humbert Lucas can conjure up :)
Unisex? With the herbaceous-green speckles, I would say yes ... but personally, I think Panthea awakens more of an Aphrodite than conjuring up an Adonis ;)
The longevity is over 8 hours. The scent doesn't come across as very loud, but its wonderful fragrance aura gently hovers over the wearer!
The beautiful scent is wearable all year round.
The bottle, like all Lucas fragrances, is once again an absolute dream.
Conclusion:
Panthea left me puzzled back then ...
but what does my chatter from yesterday matter when the magic ultimately reached me after all :)
I recommend to all clean scent lovers ... give it a sniff!
Let Panthea enchant you ;)
I had the same experience with Panthea Iris, tested it last year - it didn't blow me away. And now? I’ve secured a backup bottle :) This is the first scent that really has a chance of becoming a signature for me… I haven’t felt this kind of excitement in a long time. It's interesting that you had a similar experience with Panthea. I need to test that one too!
Patchouli-heavy clean musk?! That would leave me puzzled too, because for me, both components exclude each other. Regardless of that: Everything has its time - and in the end, you found each other after all, :-)!
It reads wonderfully. So far, no fragrance has truly captivated me for the long term. I really want to find them so amazing. The bottles are pure beauty.
In the first part, I see myself: in love, bought it, sold it again relatively quickly... no no no... I will NOT test it again... or... thinking... :))
Nice comment!
Some magic reveals its effects much later, and from "meh" it turns into "aaaahhhh" :-) Beautiful description, and for that, you get a big Saubär trophy! If I ever come across it, I'll give it a try.
As you might guess, it was a bit too musky and powdery for me, so it's definitely more suited for women, even though I usually like those subtle and soft scents. I just found this one "only" good.
The SHL fragrances have a magic to them that I haven't been able to figure out yet, but they reach me every time. ;) Looks like this one is no different.
It's interesting that you had a similar experience with Panthea. I need to test that one too!
Thanks for the sample :).
Thanks for the lovely description!
