Naked Love Night in Doha - The Passion of Immortelle

Une Nuit à Doha is a warm Mediterranean breeze that caresses and kisses the body lying naked on the sun-warmed beach. Mediterranean lightness, a flirtation with sensuality, a love affair.

After spraying Une Nuit à Doha, a note of fennel can be detected. The fennel note evokes a hint of warm fennel tea, light green, gentle, and fresh. Ginger, not sharp like a Fisherman’s Friend, but spreading a light touch of freshness, underscores the fresh first impression of the top note.

Soon after, a brown caramel note sparkles for a moment. Warm, full, not overly sweet.

The notes of southern fruits unfold. Ripe mandarin and a blonde orange. The fruits are caramelized but have retained their summery juiciness. They are sliced and merely candied at the edges.

And then the note that characterizes the fragrance, which now determines its course until the end, takes the stage: Immortelle. The Immortelle note in Une Nuit à Doha is exceedingly life-affirming - compared to other Immortelle fragrances.

The Immortelle in Une Nuit à Doha does not carry the tragic weight of the Immortelle in L’Âme d’un Héros. It does not evoke the looming loss of love, nor does it admonish to savor the moment unconditionally (Immortal Beloved). The Immortelle in L’Homme Sage is too intellectual; it cannot let go in love, it does not want to surrender unreservedly. Compared to Sables by Goutal, one must conclude that the Immortelle in Sables is the inseparable, eternal, passionate love of a lifetime, an immensely deep love, physically and spiritually, down to the last fiber.

The Immortelle in Une Nuit à Doha is the love and devotion savored in the moment. A light-footed love, floating, certainly felt in the heart, yet unforced. A love imbued with southern French lightness and zest for life. A feeling as if a warm breeze and the hand of the beloved caress the body on the warm beach. A hint of vetiver gives the fragrance the grounding of the sand on the beach.

The Immortelle in Une Nuit à Doha is full life, where one revels in the passion of the moment. Here, the Immortelle has nothing bitter, no sour aftertaste. With this lustful, life-affirming Immortelle, the love night is rather at home in southern France than in Doha (where one would presumably be whipped for beach sex).

It is a sun-warmed sandy beach, the warm sea gently undulating. The sun stands in bright orange and red on the horizon, about to unite with the sea. One is alone on the beach with a loved one. It does not matter whether one has known the partner for a long time, it does not matter whether one or she is married - and to whom. South of the nougat city of Montélimar in Provence, vice becomes virtue for the duration of a night.

Une Nuit à Doha caresses through her long brown hair, runs fingers and lips over her full, sensual lips and delicate cheeks. The lips glide along the neck, lustful fingertips open her bikini top to caress her breasts. Slowly, one slips off her panties, gently gliding the hand over her legs. Une Nuit à Doha softly glides over her thighs, covering her with kisses, from the knee up to her core. One smells the warm sand, her skin, her arousal, kisses her, enjoys pampering her with the tongue. Just as the impressions of experienced pleasure, so does the Immortelle in Une Nuit à Doha smell.

Towards the base, rather restrained notes of tobacco and vanilla provide an erotic, spicy warmth and passion. The vanilla and the tobacco are never as overpowering and sticky as in Tobacco Vanille, but instead give the lustful love affair some depth.

One spends the rest of the night with her in the hotel, sleeps in, has breakfast together. What happens afterward, Une Nuit à Doha leaves open.

I also believe that this Immortelle is more at home in southern France or Corsica. Beautiful scent!

I don't like immortelle; the rest should be perfect for me. Maybe I'll give it a try after all.
